One of the national parks managed by South African National Parks is the Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens situated along the eastern coast of the Western Cape Province. The closest village to the gardens is Betty's Bay, the closest town, Hermanus and the largest city is Cape Town. The main attraction at the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens is undoubtedly the waterfalls. There is an easy hiking trail that takes the visitor right up to the waterfall.
